The cat woke me up at 6am and it was still windy, so I quickly got out of bed and was on the water by 6.15am!!! I was still half asleep, but at least I'd rigged everything correctly. Despite the 20 knot wind I decided to go with my Hifly and 5.7m sail as it was always going to be a short session and I wanted to be properly powered up.... I certainly was. I had to put some more outhaul on after a couple of runs, and then I was nicely overpowered baslting back and forth across the choppy waters of the estaury watching the sunrise.

There was enough chop for a few good chop hops.. I even unintentionally did a one footed jump whem my back foot slippied out of the strap on take off...I managed to get it back on the board and land it though!! My gybing wasn't great today though, mainly because I was still half asleep, but it was a good session all the same. I stayed out for an hour and still managed to get to work by just after 8am.

Only 3 stars though as I was on my own and the session was fairly short.
